Job Title: Scrum Master

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Scrum Master to join the Stellar team. The Scrum Master will be responsible for leading our Agile development team and facilitating the Scrum process to ensure the team meets its sprint goals and delivers high-quality software products for Stellar and our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile principles, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a team facilitator for the Agile development team, driving the Scrum process and ensuring the team adheres to Agile principles and values
• Collaborate with the product owner to manage the product backlog and prioritize user stories for each sprint
• Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Monitor and track sprint progress, identifying and addressing obstacles that may prevent the team from meeting its sprint goals
• Manage team dynamics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
• Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality software products are delivered on time and within budget
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and manage stakeholder expectations
• Ensure the team follows development best practices and agile methodologies, and continuously seek ways to improve team performance
• Maintain and update project documentation and records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile coach in a software development environment
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and software development best practices
• Certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and resolve conflicts
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address obstacles and risks that may impact project success
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Trello, other
• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Waterfall, Kanban, or Lean is a plus
