Job Title: Sales Executive — Financial Services
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive with expertise in Financial Services to join our team at Stellar, a leading data and AI technology services company. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers in the Financial Services industry, and developing and executing sales strategies that align with our company’s objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling data and AI technology services to Financial Services clients, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives revenue growth for the Financial Services vertical
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Financial Services industry, building a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in Financial Services companies, including C‑level executives, IT leaders, and business leaders
- Understand client business objectives, pain points, and challenges, and propose solutions that address their specific needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, pricing strategies, and customized solutions that meet client requirements
- Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance and progress against targets
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the Financial Services industry, and make recommendations for new product and service offerings
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in selling data and AI technology services to Financial Services clients
- Expertise in Financial Services, with a deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and regulatory environment
- Strong network and relationships with decision-makers in the Financial Services industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex client requirements and propose solutions that address their specific needs
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus
